Conferences in the Real World — Why Not Head for Bournemouth?

In recent months, we've all become used to holding business meetings and conferences on Zoom and other online platforms. That's been a lifesaver, but it still doesn't compare with a real-world, in-person conference.

However, we're gradually and cautiously moving out of Lock down, and it's now possible to start thinking of holding face-to-face conferences again — as long as you're in a venue that's safe for social distancing.

Why Hold Your Conference in Bournemouth?

There's a long tradition of holding conferences on the south coast, and for very good reasons. Your delegates will not only feel more relaxed and positive in the mild climate and healthy sea air, but they can also take in the attractions of the seaside.

Bournemouth has been one of the premiere south-coast resorts for around two centuries. When not inside, your delegates will be able to enjoy not only the superb beaches, but also many of the town's many attractions. Marsham Court Hotel is perfectly placed to access all of these.

Why Hold Your Conference at Marsham Court?

Location is important, but what you really need for a conference is a venue with excellent facilities. MarshamCourt offers nine meeting and function rooms. In normal circumstances, they can cater for anything from 2 to 280 guests, although obviously numbers need to remain lower at the moment, to ensure that delegates can maintain social distancing.

We offer all the facilities you might need, from A/V equipment to free WiFi, and we can also work with you to plan your event effectively. Perhaps most importantly, we provide first-class catering services. Our head chef and his team will lay on a two-course lunch, as well as three servings of refreshments during the day, and all our staff work hard to make sure everyone feels welcome and looked after.

Marsham Court and Safety

It's going to be some time before we get back to anything like normal, and that's certainly true of conferences. It's inevitable that many of your delegates will feel nervous about attending a face-to-face event.

At Marsham Court, we've done everything possible to ensure the safety of both our guests and our staff. Besides rearranging our layouts to make social distancing easy, we also deep clean rooms between uses as well as increasing our normal high standard of cleaning for all areas of the hotel. All staff wear masks, and hand sanitiser is available wherever you go.

Get in touch to find out more about how you can stay safe while moving your conferences back towards normality.
