 After a year of lockdown, we're all longing for the chance to get away for a holiday break. The latest word is that holidays abroad could be a long time coming back, but you can have a great family holiday in the UK. Holidays from May at Marsham Court Hotel?

 The Government's roadmap out of lockdown currently predicts that restrictions on travel and hotels within the UK should be lifted by May. Although this obviously depends on the continuing success of the vaccination roll-out, we at Marsham Court Hotel are cautiously optimistic.


Our current plans involve opening to bookings in May. Of course, this won't be exactly the same as it would have been a couple of years ago. Although the vaccine should protect us, it doesn't mean we can become careless about safety.

 We spent the first lockdown putting safety measures and protocols in place, and each of these will be maintained as long as necessary. Besides deep cleaning procedures to ensure that your room is completely virus-free when you receive the keys, we've rearranged the hotel's layout to make social distancing easier.

 Bournemouth is the perfect destination for your UK holiday. Besides the attractive south-coast climate and award-winning beaches, the town is vibrant with shops and leisure facilities, all of which should be reopening from May onwards. Marsham Court Hotel is an elegant Edwardian building on the sea-front, overlooking Bournemouth Bay. We have a selection of rooms, single, twin, double and family, to suit your needs, many with sea views and some with balconies.

 From the time we open, hopefully in May, we have a range of special offers, including Spring Savers and Summer Savers. These vary from three nights for the price of two to a free drinks package worth up to £45.

 Dogs are as important to us as they are to you, and if your idea of a family holiday includes your dog, we cater for that. We have seven dog-friendly rooms, and an apartment that sleeps up to six, plus 2 dogs.


Special facilities, in addition to those we provide for our human guests, range from a dog bed to a ball-thrower, as well as a welcome pack that includes treats, a ball and waste bags. Your canine friend can enjoy a special doggy menu in the same locations where you're eating.
